This illustration was part of a project with the Syriauntold platform. The project is a combination of articles that introduce feminists. The file called "Feminist Praxes and Ideas in the Twentieth-First Century: Experiences from Palestine, Iran, Egypt, Syria, Tunisia, and Algeria"

This illustration was about Lina Isma’il a Palestinian feminist showing women's role in restoring (Palestinian) relationship with the land. To draw this illustration, I researched and used the motifs, folklore, and cultural symbols of Palestinian embroidery and linked them to the article's content. I used ink, gray shadings, and red colors on paper.
