According to the exhibition's curator Dr. Pamela Chrabieh:
"This artwork beautifully encapsulates the idea that without the magic of beginnings, the universe would cease to move. Inspired by Omar Taher's words, the piece uses Kufic calligraphy to emphasize the significance of initiation and creation. The two hands, reminiscent of Michelangelo's "The Creation of Adam," reach out to one another, symbolizing the spark of life and the interconnectedness that propels the cosmos—and urban life—forward. The circular design suggests the cyclical nature of existence, where each beginning fuels the momentum of the universe, much like how each individual contributes to the vibrancy and evolution of the urban canvas."
n.b. the artwork's title in English was given by the curator.
