This Artwork symbolizes a woman's soul's rising.
After every problem we face in life, the soul follows a cycle. After recovery, there is a rise. That is why we can notice in :
- The background photo: the sunrise (Taanayel at 5.30 am).
- The Painting: a woman's soul getting up and rebreathing.
I used all my skills:
- A graphic designer (layout and harmony between the design and the typography).
- A photographer: the landscape photo was taken by me in Taanayel Lebanon, at 5.30 am sunrise time.
- A Painter.
About Joelle Hasna
Joelle Hasna earned a Master's degree in Graphic Design from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik USEK, Lebanon, and she completed photography courses at FAPA. Her experience spans over 10 years in graphic design. She worked for Silkor, ICS, bil Arabiya, pop-up agency Qatar, Hasna Marine, and on diverse freelance projects.
She is currently an Art Director in a company and works on her page, Shots and Shades.
In 2022 and 2023, she participated in the Luxembourg Art Prize and received certificates from the museum for "The High Artistic Quality".
"I was always looking for a unique idea, a new identity, a new image, a new way that reflects the artist inside of me. Until I found the idea. Until I found what I wanted. Mixing between reality and imagination. Mixing between darkness and hope. Mixing black and white with colors. Mixing between photography and painting. And this is why it's called... Shots and Shades".
