ReCollected Leather & Crystal Statement Necklace

Part of ReCollected, Kulturnest’s private collection of pre-owned, never-worn and vintage pieces, this distinctive Massimo Dutti statement necklace combines a soft brown leather cord with antiqued metal box chains and an ornate central arrangement of smoky faceted stones, smaller crystal accents and a pearl-effect centrepiece.

The necklace was purchased from Massimo Dutti, most likely during the late 2000s or early 2010s, and has remained unworn since. Its mixed materials, aged-metal finish and sculptural, jewel-like centre reflect the bold statement-necklace aesthetic associated with that period.

This archival necklace is an uncommon discontinued design. It was never worn and has been carefully stored. The original Massimo Dutti store pouch, wrapping and tags are no longer available. Minor tonal variations or signs of natural ageing may be present from storage and are part of the character of the materials.

Care

Store separately in a dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to humidity or direct sunlight. Do not spray perfume, fragranced oils, hairspray or cosmetic products directly onto the necklace, as these may stain the leather, dull the metal finish or affect the stones. Put the necklace on only after applying perfume and skincare products, and wipe it gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth after handling.

ReCollected is Kulturnest’s private collection of pieces gathered gradually over the years and kept in storage until now. It brings together previously acquired, never-worn, never-used, and archival items that were selected for their design, character, craftsmanship, or simply because they felt worth keeping. They are not second-hand pieces as they have not entered circulation at all. They have been collected in different countries, preserved, and quietly waiting. By bringing them back into view, ReCollected extends the idea of circularity beyond reuse. It is also about looking again at what already exists, releasing pieces from storage, and allowing carefully kept objects to finally find a place in someone else’s life.
