ReCollected Jérémie Barthod Contemporary Sculptural Necklace

Part of ReCollected, Kulturnest's private collection of pre-owned, never-worn and vintage pieces, this sculptural necklace was created by French jewellery designer Jérémie Barthod, whose work explores the meeting point between contemporary art, craftsmanship and wearable sculpture.

Hand-formed from coiled stainless steel wire with contrasting brass-toned fittings, the necklace culminates in an organically woven spherical form that cradles a luminous freshwater pearl. Inspired by natural structures and industrial materials alike, the piece transforms simple elements into an expressive, architectural composition.

Purchased several years ago and preserved in never-worn condition, this necklace exemplifies Barthod's distinctive approach to contemporary jewellery - minimal, tactile, and sculptural. Rather than following seasonal fashion trends, his creations are produced in small quantities and are appreciated as collectible design objects.
