According to the exhibition's curator Dr. Pamela Chrabieh:
"In this piece, the integration of Arabic script with a style reminiscent of Chinese characters symbolizes the blending of cultures and the universal quest for knowledge. The intricate Kufic design represents the pathways of learning that crisscross through urban spaces, guiding individuals toward enlightenment. The artwork captures the essence of cities as hubs of wisdom, where diverse ideas converge and flourish, illuminating the darkness with the light of understanding."
n.b. the artwork's title in English was given by the curator.
