The paintings show one person standing on the edge, the other in a doorway; both are pausing, contemplating, hesitating, but eventually having the courage to jump into the unknown or step through that door, hoping that that leap of faith is a new beginning, a transformation, a renewal… a bold step into one's dreams and desires.
About Nadine Tabri
Nadine Gaby Tabri is a Lebanese artist and architect, born with a passion for creativity and expression. She graduated from the Lebanese American University (LAU) in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. While studying architecture, she nurtured a deep love for drawing, sketching, and painting, though she had not yet fully explored her artistic potential.
In 2017, she decided to take her artistic journey more seriously, dedicating herself to painting once again. The global COVID-19 pandemic gave her the time and space to engage more deeply with her art, transforming what began as a hobby into a vital and expressive practice. Since then, Nadine has participated in numerous symposiums and collective exhibitions across Lebanon and abroad. Her works have been exhibited at prestigious venues such as UNESCO Palace, Beirut National Library, Baakleen National Library, Beit Beirut, Sami Makarem Cultural Center, Russian Cultural Center, The Grand Sofar Hotel, Multaqa Beirut El Safir, Opera House Cairo, Forum de Beirut, and the American University of Technology (AUT).
In May 2025, she held her first solo exhibition, Meshwar (مشوار), at Multaqa Beirut El Safir. This exhibition presented a retrospective of five years of her work, arranged to take visitors on a symbolic “walk” through her artistic journey—a vivid exploration of her world of colors and dreams.
Nadine is also a dedicated piano teacher, reflecting her multi-faceted artistic nature. As both painter and musician, she embraces creativity as a lifelong path. Her art, characterized by vibrant colors and emotional depth, reflects her ongoing journey of self-discovery and her commitment to sharing beauty and imagination with others.
