About Carmen ElBadri Garibaldi

I was born an artist long before Carzy existed.
Creation was never a choice; it was instinct. Art lived in me in movement, voice, drawing, and emotion. I always knew I would create something meaningful. Something real. I just didn’t know where it would land.
I studied interior design, not fashion. But I was already designing atmospheres and emotions, building worlds without realizing it. Fashion was always there, quietly waiting.
Carzy was born between two countries
and during a moment when I completely lost myself.
I left Lebanon searching for a new beginning in Mexico. The contrast, chaos, spirituality, and loneliness reshaped me. While working with my father in the clothing world, I began to understand garments as more than fabric; they carried energy, identity, and story.
That’s when I knew I didn’t want to sell what already existed.
I needed to create.
When I returned to Lebanon, I started from zero. Carzy began with customization pieces made one by one, reflecting people’s moods, names, and emotions. Over time, I taught myself how to design and embroider from scratch, moving from customization to true creation.
From that point on, Carzy became instinct-driven.
My own graphics. My own symbols. My own direction.
La Black Suit marked a new chapter. It was a collaboration where I re-designed already-made blazers and trench coats, transforming classic silhouettes through my personal vision, turning structure into expression, and tailoring into art.
Today, Carzy stands as more than fashion.
It’s where all my talents meet.
The form my art chose.
