These three knives are all forged out of carbon steel, selectively quenched, and properly heat-treated. The folder is hand-built with coral micarta (a synthetic material made out of resin and reclaimed tissue).
The knife in the middle has a boxwood tree handle and a selective quench. Julien can make a Leather or Kydex sheath on request ( with an extra charge: Leather 30$ or Kydex 20$).
The knife on top: Stabilized Curly Maple, forged carbon steel, selective quench. Also custom-made sheath on request (Leather 30$ or Kydex 20$).
Each knife costs 100$.
About Julien and Miquela Faure
Miquela has always dabbled in the arts and loves exploring the utilitarian and design possibilities of clay through carving, sculpting, and hand-painting. She started pottery less than a year ago and caught the bug.
Julien is a bladesmith; he has been forging knives and tools for about 10 years. He loves to study materials and to play with fire. He joined the world of pottery with his wife and discovered yet another endless world of experimentation and enjoyment.
