Tia Kaedbey is a teen green entrepreneur and advocate for environmental sustainability, social impact, and human rights. With a background in writing, activism, and visual arts, she brings a dynamic and creative approach to environmental and human activism.
Tia is the founder of Fairylistiic, a green project established in 2022. As the first of its kind in Lebanon, Fairylistiic focuses on upcycling discarded CDs into vibrant, meaningful art pieces. She collects people's trash, from CDs, to glass jars, lids... and paints on them: if it can be painted, then she will paint on it. Through this unique practice, Tia illustrates how creative expression can become a powerful tool for environmental awareness and spreading joy and colors.
Her mission is rooted in the belief that art can not only inspire but also transform - redefining waste and promoting sustainable living through beauty, playfulness, and imagination. Upcycling does not have to be lifeless or boring!
