Chouchou

Roula Freiha Bahsali is a Lebanese artist and the founder of Boîtes De Mémoire, an artistic project dedicated to the creation of entirely handmade miniatures crafted from recycled and upcycled materials. Each piece takes the form of a miniature box built around a specific theme and requires approximately one month of meticulous manual work.

Through her work, she seeks to tell stories, preserve a vintage aesthetic, and give materials a second life. For her, art is a true passion, driven by a deep appreciation for detail, craftsmanship, and nostalgic universes.
