About Charles El Kordahi
Born in Lebanon in 1982, Charles El Kordahi is the youngest of four siblings, growing up in an environment that valued knowledge, education, and intellectual curiosity. His passion for painting and the arts emerged during his teenage years, despite not having a formal art education in school. This passion eventually led him to study Fine Arts at university, where his admiration for architecture, precise structures, and intricate details became evident in his work.
Charles possesses a keen eye for detail, whether in photography or drawing, yet he also allows his emotions to guide his artistic expression in more abstract ways. His love for teaching and sharing knowledge led him to mentor students in art, drawing, and project design, fostering creativity and technical skills in others.
Hands-on creativity is a vital part of his artistic practice, with activities such as hand-painting, crafting, pottery, and sculpture serving as therapeutic escapes from daily life. Clay, rough paint textures, and repurposed materials hold a special place in his artistic repertoire, reflecting his deep respect for nature and his commitment to recycling and sustainability in both industrial and artistic contexts.
Many of Charles' paintings depict landscapes, with some displayed in exhibitions while others remain part of his collection. Beyond art, he enjoys watching films, reading, and exploring innovations in art and technology. His close circle of friends shares his tastes, values, and interests, creating meaningful connections rooted in shared passions.
For Charles, every day is an opportunity to learn something new, to find positivity even in challenging moments, and to grow through interactions with others. His passion for travel further fuels his creativity, offering him fresh perspectives and inspiration from new places, cultures, and artistic expressions.
