About Nathalie Bannout
Nathalie Bannout is a Lebanese fine artist whose practice moves between abstraction and expressionism, with a strong emphasis on color, movement, and contemporary interpretations of beauty. Her work is characterized by bold, vibrant palettes and an expressive visual language that reflects freedom, confidence, and experimentation.
Her creative journey was deeply influenced by her father, a sculptor working with wood and stone, whose techniques she observed closely from an early age. Having lived in Saudi Arabia and Sweden, Bannout later earned a BA in Applied Arts, experiences that broadened her artistic perspective and informed the development of her practice.
Her work has been presented in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Sweden, including exhibitions at Beit Beirut, the Ministry of Culture in Beirut, Forum de Beyrouth, Aswak Beirut, the American International School in Jeddah, and Granbee in Uppsala. Through her work, Bannout continues to explore new visual possibilities while seeking to create pieces that are both visually engaging and thought-provoking.
