This photo captures the little details, usually the overlooked ones, as we are surrounded by nature yet tend to ignore it. The growth within the broken concrete wall symbolizes nature's power, as this life survived against all odds in an un-nourished environment and flourished. The color purple symbolizes transformation in the healing process, and evokes a sense of relaxation, contrasting with the visual textures that mimic the simple photo's transformation into a new emotion of calm and renewal.

Part of "The Beauty of Healing" Collection:

This body of work explores the beauty of healing through the interplay of texture, color, abstraction, and lived experience. The artworks reflect an ongoing process of psychological and emotional healing, expressed through layered materials and symbolic references to nature. Each piece serves as both a personal reflection and an open space for viewers to project their own emotions and interpretations.

Nature serves as a primary source of inspiration and symbolism, representing resilience, transformation, and quiet strength, qualities that parallel the human capacity to endure and adapt. Natural elements such as oceans, skies, and flowers are abstracted, allowing them to function as metaphors. The unpredictability of nature, its ability to grow, change, and survive in adverse conditions, mirrors the emotional states explored in the work. Personally, nature is both an escape and a guide, offering comfort while reflecting the realities of struggle and renewal.

A range of personal experiences has contributed to the exhibition's development, including loss, grief, anxiety, war, and moments of optimism and appreciation. These experiences are translated into abstract compositions that capture emotional states rather than specific narratives. By avoiding direct representation, the works encourage viewers to engage with the emotional essence of each piece, fostering a more intimate and subjective response.

Within this context, color plays a central role in communicating meaning throughout the works, carrying distinct emotional weight tied to memories, sensations, and stages of healing. Warmer tones evoke comfort, hope, and renewal, while colder tones reflect grief, anxiety, and introspection; these chromatic choices collectively mirror the complexity of emotional recovery.

Texture further reinforces this idea, as layered surfaces reflect the accumulation of experiences over time. Through the use of paint, modeling paste, and resin sand , the works acquire a tactile quality that embodies the uneven, often fragmented nature of healing. The use of textured mediums such as modeling paste and fabric introduces a physical dimension that reinforces the conceptual framework. These materials add depth and irregularity, symbolizing the layered, unpredictable nature of healing. Techniques such as applying and manipulating plastic wrap with paint produce translucent effects that suggest fragility and transformation, emphasizing that healing is neither linear nor uniform.

Works included in this exhibition  are “Anger”  which  explores grief and acceptance, while “Against all odds ”, and “The sunlight” illustrate the transitions from despair to renewal through color, particularly in response to the trauma of war. The exhibition is intended as an immersive journey. Through the interaction of color, texture, and space, viewers are invited to reflect on their own emotional landscapes and consider the many forms healing can take.
