Kulturnest Garden Artist Residency - Selected Artists (Spring 2026 Edition)
We are pleased to announce that Nora Lebbos and Rola Souheil have been selected for the Kulturnest Garden Artist Residency (Spring 2026 Edition), following an open call that received 46 applications.
This three-month residency (February to May) offers artists a dedicated workspace in Kulturnest’s garden, encouraging encounters with visitors, exchanges with fellow artists, and the sharing of creative processes in an open, homey, living environment.
Nora Lebbos
Nora Lebbos is a writer, visual artist, and multilayered human being. She writes science fiction and poetry, and her visual artworks have been featured in collective exhibitions in France, Italy, Lebanon, and London, as well as in publications such as The Purposeful Mayonnaise (TPM) and Suboart. She is also part of London’s No Name Collective virtual gallery.
* Residency start: First week of February
* Presence at Kulturnest: Wednesdays 11 AM to 5 PM & Thursdays 2 to 6.30 PM
Rola Souheil
A graduate of the Lebanese University in Fine Arts (1996), Rola Souheil’s practice bridges fine arts, psychology, and social engagement. Having worked in decorative painting and the pottery industry before shifting her focus to education and psychosocial support, her work is deeply informed by art mediation, Gestalt therapy, and expressive painting. Her evolving practice - from Fauvist portraits to layered abstraction and repetitive patterns - explores identity, resilience, and acceptance, while also addressing social and political realities such as the Arab Spring and the Lebanese October 17 revolution.
* Residency start: Second week of February
* Presence at Kulturnest: Wednesdays & Fridays, 11 AM to 6.30 PM
Throughout the residency, visitors and fellow artists are invited to meet Nora Lebbos and Rola Souheil at Kulturnest, engage in conversation, and follow their creative processes as they unfold in the garden.
We look forward to hosting this exchange of practices, ideas, and presence at Kulturnest.
