Open Call: Garden Artist Residency at Kulturnest

In response to the ongoing challenges facing our creative community in Lebanon, Kulturnest is opening its doors for a 3-month sponsored Artist Residency. We are offering four selected artists/designers a dedicated space to create, connect, and grow within our garden - FREE OF CHARGE.

This residency is designed for those who seek to step out of isolation and into a professional, collaborative environment that bridges the gap between the "studio" and the "market."

What We Offer - Starting February 2026

• A Dedicated Workspace: Two 70x70 cm tables and a dedicated corner for an easel (if needed) in our covered, all-weather garden.
• Professional Exposure: Use our space to host your clients, collectors, and collaborators in a beautiful setting.
• Connectivity: High-speed WiFi and access to our creative network.
• Material Storage: On-site storage for your tools and supplies on our second floor.

Digital Narrative: Throughout the residency, your creative process will be documented and shared via stories on our social media platforms to our local and international audience.

Post-Residency

By the end of the three months, Kulturnest offers an "Artist Feature" (a permanent "Artist Profile" on our website & a Blog Post about the artist and their creative process). In addition, samples of the artworks or designs produced will be curated for our physical concept store and our eShop/eGallery. Also, Kulturnest offers priority consideration for inclusion in our upcoming collective hybrid art exhibitions.

Commitment & Rules of Conduct

To maintain the energy of the residency, we ask for the following:

Attendance: A commitment to work from the space at least twice per week during our opening hours (Wed & Fri: 11 am – 6.30 pm | Thu & Sat: 2 pm – 6.30 pm). Note: The space is closed during national holidays.

F&B Policy: To support the space’s overhead, all beverages must be purchased from our menu. You are welcome to bring your own food or purchase homemade meals from us.

Transparency & Sales:

During the Residency: If a client visits the garden and purchases a piece you are currently working on, Kulturnest takes 0% commission. We want you to thrive.

Post-Residency: For pieces later integrated into our Concept Store, eGallery, or exhibitions, standard Kulturnest commission rates will apply.
