What I tried to express through this canvas is the voices and whispers of the men and women of my past, who had a great positive/negative influence on my life choices. This canvas represents how with time, maturity and work on myself, I managed to take the positive and detach myself from the negative which was toxic to me, and to no longer see myself through their eyes but through mine.
The past and the present are represented through the superposition, and how, despite all the personal work, the past is still entwined with the present, but its strength is that now I manage to separate things.
