Morning with Mom: A Perfect Blend of Art, Coffee, and Community

On March 15, something special happened at our Morning with Mom event—a day dedicated to celebrating mothers, creativity, connection, and the simple joys that bring us together: art and coffee.

In collaboration with Rania Talal - Dragoast/Steampunk -, we curated a unique experience reminding us all that some of life’s best conversations begin over a great cup of coffee. Guests were treated to live coffee demonstrations, showcasing different brewing techniques and flavor profiles. Whether you’re a coffee connoisseur or someone who just enjoys a comforting cup, it was an eye-opening (and tastebud-pleasing) journey through the many ways coffee can be crafted.

But coffee was only one part of this flavorful morning.

The real star of the day? Art.

Over 100 local artists - along with the special exhibit by @sittnaila - had their works displayed in a vibrant showcase.

Lebanon has long been a crossroads of culture, creativity, and conversation. Our cities and towns are home to countless artists and artisans who pour their hearts into their craft, often in the face of economic and social challenges. Supporting local artists isn’t just about buying a painting or attending an exhibit—it’s about investing in the soul of our community, nurturing voices that might otherwise go unheard, and keeping Lebanon’s cultural heartbeat strong.

Similarly, Lebanon’s coffee culture is more than just caffeine—it’s a ritual, a gathering, a moment to pause. From the classic Lebanese coffee shared at home to the bustling cafés that line our streets, coffee has always been a symbol of hospitality, warmth, and connection. By supporting local coffee roasters, cafés, and baristas, we’re preserving this cherished tradition while also embracing new flavors, techniques, and innovations.

Events like Morning with Mom remind us how these two worlds—art and coffee—intersect beautifully. They bring people together, foster dialogue, and create spaces where creativity and community flourish side by side.
