Call for Submission: Kulturnest Artist Features
We are opening submissions for artists based in Lebanon who would like to be featured on kulturnest.com through an Artist Interview or Artist Portrait, accompanied by a dedicated social media post and story.
This initiative is part of our ongoing effort to support and highlight local artists during times of uncertainty, while contributing to the sustainability of Kulturnest as a creative hub for a growing community of 270+ artists.
Why participate?
Being featured offers visibility within an engaged and growing creative network of more than 270 artists, both locally and beyond. It is an opportunity to present your work, process, and story in a thoughtful format, build (or expand) your artistic presence online, and connect with a wider audience of collectors, collaborators, and art enthusiasts. It also allows your work to be documented and shared within a curated platform that values context, narrative, and artistic integrity.
How to apply:
Send us a WhatsApp message (+9613008245) expressing your interest, along with:
• Up to 5 high-resolution images (square format, JPG)
(you in your studio, your process, your artworks)
• A short biography in English (max. 500 words)
• Links to your social media accounts (Instagram and/or Facebook)
Note: Priority is given to artists and creatives living in Lebanon. We also welcome applications from expats and artists of all nationalities, backgrounds, disciplines, techniques, and styles.
Selection Criteria: cohesive body of work; compelling story and concept; distinct aesthetic and originality; alignment with our mission.
Process:
If selected, we will:
• Notify you directly by WhatsApp within a week
• Share a set of written interview and/or portrait questions (standard Kulturnest questions)
• A symbolic fee of $20 is to be sent via Whish Wallet to +9613008245
Once the payment is received and confirmed, we will notify you and wait for your answers to the questions
• Your Artist Interview or Portrait will then be published on our website and social platforms - the process usually takes up to two weeks
• You will also be featured in our website’s “Artists” section with your biography and photo, becoming part of the Kulturnest community (if you are not already part of it)
Note: The publication process is handled solely by Kulturnest and remains subject to our editorial and curatorial discretion. This includes writing the title and curatorial introduction to the artist interview, editing the submitted text for syntax, spelling, grammar, clarity, and formatting, adjusting or preparing the images provided by the artist when needed, and deciding how the final content is displayed on the Kulturnest website and social media platforms.
As an artist in our community, you also benefit from discounts on F&B at our space, preferential rates on space leasing for your workshops, events, and meetings, and special offers on Tourleb Adventures for Kulturnest. You are also pre-selected for opportunities to display your work in our concept store, collective exhibitions, art markets, and other cultural activities.
This contribution helps us continue building and supporting the local creative community.
There is no deadline - submissions are open on a rolling basis.
