Call for Participation: May 2025 Kulturnest EcoArt Market

Call for Participation: May 2025 Kulturnest EcoArt Market

In an era of environmental challenges, art has the power to inspire change, raise awareness, and promote sustainability. At Kulturnest, we believe ecological art is more than just a trend—it’s a movement toward a better future. That’s why we are committed to supporting local artists, designers, and creative enterprises who integrate sustainability into their work.

With that in mind, we’re excited to announce the 2nd Chapter of our EcoArt Market, happening on May 17 & 18, 2025, at Kulturnest, Sin El Fil.

Why Eco-Art Matters
Eco-art is about creating with consciousness—using materials and techniques that are sustainable, upcycled, or minimize environmental impact. Whether it’s repurposing discarded materials into beautiful creations or designing with nature in mind, eco-artists are helping to shape a greener future.

Lebanon, like many places around the world, faces environmental struggles—waste management issues, pollution, and unsustainable consumer habits. By fostering ecological creativity, we’re not just supporting local artists, but also advocating for a shift in mindset. Every piece of sustainable art tells a story, offering new ways to see and value the materials we often overlook.

Who Can Participate?
We welcome artists, designers, and creative enterprises working with:
🎨 Recycled & Upcycled Art – Transforming discarded materials into unique artworks.
🧵 Sustainable Fashion & Textiles – Eco-conscious clothing, accessories, and textiles.
🔨 Handmade Crafts – Ethical and sustainable handcrafted goods.
🏺 Eco-Ceramics & Natural Clay Art – Made with locally sourced, non-toxic materials.
🖼 Organic & Plant-Based Dyes – Eco-friendly alternatives in textile and paper art.
🕯 Sustainable Home Decor – Furniture, candles, and decor made from upcycled or eco-conscious materials.
📖 Handmade Paper & Bookbinding – Using recycled fibers and natural inks.
🌿 Botanical Art & Nature-Inspired Design – Pressed flowers, woodwork, and natural elements in art.
🛍 Zero-Waste Design & Packaging – Environmentally responsible product packaging and design.
💍 Ethical Jewelry – Pieces made from reclaimed metals, sustainable gems, and fair-trade materials.
