This surgery opened many layers of me as a woman and let me meet the most grieving \u0026amp; proudest parts of myself. It was like all my hidden traumas altered my personality, which brought me more misery. I needed to accept them and be kind to myself to heal. I’ve learned that the darkest times can lead us to the brightest places, and that it is okay to not be okay.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1135\"\u003eIn each artwork, there is the identity of Afaf, which means that there are four main components that are always present in my art.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1342\"\u003e\u003cstrong data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1149\"\u003e1-WOMEN:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr data-start=\"1149\" data-end=\"1152\"\u003eThese women represent me in many states, and with almost no facial expression, you can feel them through the energy.
